Carrot Fertility

At Carrot Fertility, I was brought on as an early marketing hire and tasked with creating their first content program to support multiple business goals. In addition to building out a comprehensive blog program to increase opportunities for thought leadership and awareness, I developed longer-form assets (ebooks, data reports, whitepapers, case studies), interactive tools, and webinars to nurture prospects at every stage of the funnel. I also led the development of a member communications program. I was promoted in April 2020 to lead the marketing and communications team at Carrot.

Perspectives from Clara

As Director of Content and Communications at Clara Labs, I was tasked with developing a content marketing strategy from scratch. After going through exercises to identify target audiences, home in on a brand voice, and pinpoint opportunities for thought leadership, Perspectives from Clara was born. Perspectives from Clara features guest posts from industry influencers, timely stories about current events, and actionable information to help recruiters cultivate better candidate experiences. To nurture prospects further, we launched an Insights Library of lead-gated, in-depth content including whitepapers, case studies, and interactive quizzes.

The One Medical Blog

At One Medical, I was responsible for all editorial strategy, hiring and managing writers, and promoting content. Prior to my arrival, the blog lacked a cohesive editorial strategy and struggled to find its voice. After joining, I conducted stakeholder interviews to define a clear editorial mission that differentiated One Medical’s content from others in the crowded health content space. Through more strategic content, SEO optimization, and design tweaks, I increased traffic to over 400K monthly visitors.

The LaunchSquad Blog

At LaunchSquad, I partnered with the marketing lead to develop an editorial strategy and manage writers for a company culture-focused blog. The primary goals of the program were to showcase LaunchSquad as a great place to work and to highlight client work. We accomplished this through regular employee spotlights, feature stories on unique aspects of company culture, thought leadership from internal experts, and roundups of client news.

With U.S. Ski & Snowboard, I managed editorial content for snowboarding, skiing, and member updates. This included researching and writing original content (often on-site at athletic events), running an email newsletter program for U.S. Ski and Snowboard members and donors, partnering with sponsor brands for content opportunities, and ensuring the timely dissemination of event results.

I also have provided ghostwriting services for professionals and companies in a variety of topic areas including technology, sports, business management, and more.
